SENIOR CATEGORY MANAGER MERCHANDISING (GROCERY)

Senior Category Manager Merchandising (Grocery) must have customer obsession; data‑driven decision making; excellent business judgment and ability to plan, prioritize, inspire and lead.

• Work closely with General Manager to understand the product and assortment strategy; execute within timeline & budget specified.
• Define long‑term strategic plans; drive day‑to‑day operational improvement.
• Build & grow strategic relationships with suppliers.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual revenue, margin, markdown targets.
• Develop range architecture based on consumer insights, marketplace knowledge & competitive data.

KPI

• Department sales (grow market share).

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in Excel and experience with merchandising software or ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
