Senior Capital and Validation Actuary

Lloyd's syndicate has an opening for an experience non-life actuary to lead their capital validation process and wider projects. You will report into the Chief Actuary and be part of a small team of circa 6.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the validation of theinternal capital model, ensuring high standards of accuracy, governance, and documentation. Contribute to development of validation frameworks, methodologies, and toolkits. Ensure that model validation processes and documentation comply with relevant regulatory requirements. Act as a primary point of contact for independent validation teams. Provide robust challenge to modelling assumptions, methodologies and output with constructive recommendations for improvement. Prepare clear, concise validation reports for Board, Executive, Lloyd’s, and regulatory audiences.
