Description:
What you'll do
• Lead the material procurement management of assigned projects or material commodities with varying levels of complexity
• Conduct bid analysis and commercial evaluations of proposals; Coordinate technical evaluations with project clients. Use analysis in negotiations with suppliers
• Develop, issue, and manage RFPs, RFQ, RFIs, etc.
• Single point of contact (SPOC) pertaining to purchase orders within area of responsibility
• Liaise with suppliers, and other internal stakeholders (supplier qualification, engineering, project team, Legal, Risk, etc.) as required
• Bring key industry contacts and relationships for suppliers of interstate natural gas pipe, valves, fittings and other key categories
• Understand all terms and conditions of all purchase orders and work within them in all dealings with the supplier
• Ensure all relevant information is received to maintain SAP records<...
