Scope of Work:
The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Bureau of Surveillance and Data Systems is charged to maintain and enhance the statewide Electronic Clinical Laboratory Reporting System (ECLRS), the Communicable Disease Electronic Surveillance System (CDESS), and the Electronic Syndromic Surveillance System (ESSS). These are mission critical electronic systems to effectively monitor and respond to over reportable diseases and to other public health emergencies and inform statewide policy decisions. Two candidates will support data exchange and data quality efforts for NYSIIS, including onboarding of providers to New York State Implementation Guide for HL version Immunization Messages and verifying message compliance to the national ONC Meaningful Use requirements for electronic submission of immunization data.
