Senior Backend Integration Engineer

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and microservices using Node.js
• Build and deploy services on AWS using:
• Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3
• ECS, Glue, EventBridge
• SQS, SNS
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Debug and resolve production issues within defined SLAs
• Create and maintain HLD/LLD documentation
• Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWS X-Ray
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
• Implement security best practices (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager)
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Serverless Framework)
