Role Summary:

Senior Backend Engineer responsible for modernising legacy backend components by migrating C++ services to C#. The role focuses on backend development using C# and PostgreSQL, working with complex database logic and leveraging AI-assisted tooling to accelerate code conversion. Operates in a collaborative, agile engineering environment with a strong emphasis on code quality and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate existing backend components from C++ to C#, ensuring functional parity, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop and enhance C# backend services integrated with PostgreSQL, including complex functions and stored procedures.
• Analyse, read, run, and debug existing C++ codebases to support accurate migration outcomes.
