Senior automation engineer

About the Role:
Goose Industrial Solutions is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join Goose Industrial Solutions. This is a technically strong, hands-on position driving a growing portfolio of industrial automation projects. You will own project delivery end-to-end from PLC and SCADA development through to site commissioning and support junior engineers along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead assigned projects.
- Develop and commission PLC programs - Siemens TIA Portal (S7-1200/S7-1500) and/or Rockwell Studio 5000
- Configure, programme, and commission SCADA/HMI systems - Win CC, Factory Talk View, or equivalent
- Programme, parameterise, and commission Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) across various platforms
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical panels, control circuits, and field instrumentation
- Support the design team in preparing electrical drawings, panel layouts, and wiring schedules
