Senior API Designer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior API Designer to support the bank's API-first and integration strategy. This role is responsible for designing enterprise-grade APIs that connect digital channels, backend services, legacy systems, and external partners.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into clear, secure, and scalable API designs aligned with BIAN standards and modern integration practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain reusable, versioned REST APIs for internal systems, digital channels, and external partners.
Create API specifications and contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger, including endpoints, payload models, and integration flows.
Define and enforce API design standards covering naming, versioning, pagination, error handling, idempotency, and backward compatibility.
