Senior Accountant/Controller - Independent Contractor

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant/Controller to help our CFO oversee our financial operations. This role is responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, overseeing percentage-of-completion accounting, and leading a small accounting team.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in construction accounting, is highly proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and understands the nuances of project-based financial management. A CPA designation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and job costing
