SUMMARYFunction as a senior level professional accountant assisting in month end close, plant cost accounting, invoice coding, accrual entries, journal entries, account reconciliations and monthly reports to management. This position is assumed have little experience when hired and training is required to become proficient in SAP and BPC as well as Excel and other MS software.
ACCOUNTING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in month-end close as directed by Supervisor with accruals, preparing journal entries, entering journal entries, and sales cut off as required.
Assist in coding invoices for the plants as required.
