Position Summary

Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant

Location: Bristol

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £14.26 - £18.00 per hour

We are looking for a full‑time term‑time Learning Support Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a structured and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Support students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, managing behaviour, encouraging engagement and providing day‑to‑day assistance throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
• A proactive and positive attitude
• Experience within a school, care or support setting
