Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils with ASD and behavioural needs, both in class and on a 1:1 or small group basis.
Assist the class teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons and behaviour management strategies.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs), communication methods (, PECS, Makaton), and behaviour support plans.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and record students’ progress, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
Work closely with therapists, SENCOs, and parents/carers to ensure a holistic approach to support.
Assist with personal care where required (training provided).
