About the Role

Job description
We are looking for a committed and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school setting in Trowbridge, providing dedicated 1:1 support to a student with additional needs. This role is centred around building a strong, trusting relationship and delivering personalised support to help the student access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent 1:1 support to a student with Special Educational Needs

Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions

Adapt resources and tasks to meet the student’s individual needs

Support emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development

Help the student engage with lessons and maintain focus

Monitor and record progress, feeding back to teaching staff and SENCO
