Job Ad: Behavioural Needs Teaching Assistant (KS3/4 PRU) – Bridgend, Wales

Prospero Teaching is on the lookout for an experienced Behavioural Needs Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting KS1/2 pupils in a special education needs setting in Bridgend. This will be based primarily in a mainstream school, with occasional time spent in an alternative learning provision.

Role Insight
You’ll be working with students who exhibit extremely challenging behaviour due to various factors such as:
SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health)
PTSD
Undiagnosed SEN

For this position you will require experience working with additional learning needs in some capacity, there will however be more training provided in positive behaviour management where required.

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
