About the Role
A welcoming and vibrant mainstream primary school in Sunderland is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join their team for the remainder of the summer term.
This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a specialist SEND and SEMH provision within the school, supporting a small group of 9 pupils in Years 2 and 3 with a range of complex needs, including autism and social, emotional and mental health needs.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated learning tailored to individual needs.
- Work closely on a daily basis with 5 pupils requiring intensive support.
- Oversee and contribute to provision for a further 4 pupils.
- Lead and collaborate with a team of 3 experienced Teaching Assistants.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families to support progress and wellbeing.
