Overview

SEND Teaching Assistant – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for support staff who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Barnet and the surrounding areas, helping them access learning and develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
• Assist teachers in delivering differentiated and accessible learning activities
• Help implement individual education plans and behaviour support strategies
• Support pupils with personal care needs where required
• Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Monitor pupil progress and share observations with staff
• Contribute to wider school life during longer-term placements
