A security guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises, controlling access, and enforcing security procedures.
Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Report any suspicious behaviors and incidents to the authorities
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the working hours
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
Qualifications
