Unit Summary

The Security Professional is responsible for delivering quality protection programs and security services to patients, visitors, and staff at Hamilton Health Sciences' various sites. The Security Guard will work with all areas of the organization, along with Hamilton Police Services, to continuously improve our service levels and meet the expectations of our community and staff.

To succeed in this role, you must have demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills. The incumbent will regularly interact with others, using interpersonal skills to diffuse contentious situations, provide support and reassurance of personal security, and enforce laws and policies.
