Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Officer and Captain in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel
- Stand watch on the bridge during designated periods, maintaining a vigilant lookout for any hazards or other vessels
- Maintain accurate records of all activities related to navigation, including weather conditions, ship's position, speed, and course
- Conduct routine checks of all safety equipment and report any defects or malfunctions to the Chief Officer
- Assist with mooring and anchoring operations as needed
- Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas on the vessel
