ERT is seeking a Scientific Programmer to support tasks at NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center (CPC) at the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) to support satellite precipitation estimates and observational monitoring products.
Duties include:
Development of conventional and AI based algorithms for the construction of high-resolution satellite precipitation estimates;Routine production of the CMORPH and CMORPH2 satellite precipitation estimates and other observational monitoring products; andApplications of the above-mentioned data sets in climate, hydroclimate and decision-making supportRequired Skills
