About the Role
My client are hiring for a Scala Developer with a strong background in Akka and Kafka to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands on experience within a media or digital media environment, building scalable, high performance distributed systems that handle real-time data and streaming workloads.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Scala
- Build reactive and distributed systems using Akka
- Develop and maintain real time streaming and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka
- Architect high-throughput, low latency applications for media content delivery and processing
- Collaborate with product, data, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems
