JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Driller is responsible for assisting the Driller by undertaking tasks as assigned in an efficient and timely manner. To stand in for the driller during drilling/tripping operations and manage the drilling crew while considering the current company and job instructions as well as KCA DEUTAG quality and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervises and takes part in the order, cleanliness and housekeeping at rig site. · Maintains the drilling tools and equipment. · Supervises and helps the drilling crew to prepare equipment. · Before rig move should order and supervise the loading of the rig equipment under the orders of the Tool Pusher and Driller. · Supervises the correct storage of drilling equipment. · Responsible for replacing the Derrickman at any time at the request of the Driller. · Inspects the derrick/mast and equipment, records the inspections, reports and corrects the d...
