 SATCOM IP Network Support AnalystLocation: Scott Air Force Base, Illinois (Onsite)
Role OverviewThis position supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as a provider of GIG/Defense Information System Network (DISN) services. The role is part of the 24x7 DISA Global Operations Center (DGOC) and directly supports DISA-provided GIG capabilities. Openings are available at Scott AFB in the greater St. Louis, MO/Southern IL area.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and update tickets using DISA ticketing applications to aid in customer problem tracking and resolution.
Monitor network events and element management failures in real-time on a 24x7x365 basis.
Perform IP network support, including the configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and voice equipment.
Perform IP satellite modem support, including configuration and issue of option/boot/RSP files.
