Role Summary

The SAP & Filesystem to OpenText DMS Migration Specialist is responsible for migrating enterprise documents and attachments from SAP systems and legacy file systems into an OpenText‑based Document Management System (DMS). The role ensures secure, accurate, and compliant migration while preserving metadata, version history, and SAP business object linkages.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate documents and attachments from SAP Content Server, ArchiveLink, SAP DMS, and file systems to OpenText DMS
• Analyse source repositories, document structures, and metadata
• Ensure correct linkage of migrated documents to SAP business objects (materials, BOMs, change records, PLM objects)
• Validate document completeness, integrity, metadata accuracy, and version history post‑migration
• Support testing cycles, cutover activities, and issue resolution
