SAP OpenText DMS Migration Specialist

Role Summary

The SAP & Filesystem to OpenText DMS Migration Specialist is responsible for migrating enterprise documents and attachments from SAP systems and legacy file systems into an OpenText‑based Document Management System (DMS) . The role ensures secure, accurate, and compliant migration while preserving metadata, version history, and SAP business object linkages.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate documents and attachments from SAP Content Server, ArchiveLink, SAP DMS, and file systems to OpenText DMS
• Analyse source repositories, document structures, and metadata
• Ensure correct linkage of migrated documents to SAP business objects (materials, BOMs, change records, PLM objects)
• Validate document completeness, integrity, metadata accuracy, and version history post‑migration
• Support testing cycles, cutover activities, and issue resolution
