We are seeking a dedicated Safety Representative to join our team for a five-week contract. This role involves ensuring the safety of a construction project involving MEP, demolition, and the rebuilding of small rooms. The position requires shift work across two shifts, each working close to 50 hours per week.
Responsibilities
+ Lead efforts in the creation of Site Specific Safety Plans.
+ Coordinate with the project team to establish a safe working environment for all.
+ Conduct and coordinate all-hands site safety meetings on a monthly basis.
+ Attend all project foreman's meetings to address safety topics and concerns.
+ Act as a liaison between the client and the team on safety issues and concerns.
+ Issue and assist with safety permits such as Hot Work, LOTO, Trenching, and Confined Space.
+ Assist in planning all high-risk activities.
