Safety Officer

Job Purpose

Fulfilling the company’s commitment to provide a safe and healthy environment and to conduct its operations in compliance to DOLE OSH Standards and other applicable safety requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform required duties set out in Rule 1047 of the DOLE OSH Standard as Safety Officer 3
• Facilitate Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Controls on existing and new processes and equipment
• Conduct investigation and root cause analysis of accidents, health-related issues, and other safety-related issues and submit reports to his/her immediate leader and to the Bureau if necessary.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits
• Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspections, accident investigation or any other related programs.
• Ensure Emergency Preparedness Response readiness for CS Nuvali site.
• Act as Fire Safety Practitioner
