Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Pollution Control Officer (PCO)

• Keep abreast of Environmental Management Bureau’s requirements on pollution control.

• Monitors compliance to the requirements specified in the Environmental Compliance Certificate and the commitments stipulated in the Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans.

• Review of chemical contents to be use in production prior to use such regulated/controlled chemicals under DENR-PDEA, PNP and DENR-EMB especially those listed under the Priority Chemicals List (PCL), Chemical Control Orders (CCO) and Small Quantity Importation (SQI).

• Attends necessary environmental permitting/Licensing requirements of different government agencies such DENR-EMB, PDEA and PEZA.

• Monitor the generation and disposal of used residual and other Hazardous waste, keep records/document of disposal, manifest form and other related supporting documents.
