About the Role
Role Purpose
The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health and safety standards on construction sites. The successful candidate must be based in Cape Town and will ensure full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company policies.Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Diploma or relevant qualification in Health & Safety
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- SAMTRAC / NEBOSH (advantageous)
- Must reside in Cape Town (non-negotiable)
- Valid drivers licence
Experience Required
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Safety Officer within the construction industry
- Experience working on building, civil or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of OHS Act and Construction Regulations
