Safety Manager - Vancouver

Transdev Canada is hiring a Safety & Training Manager for our Vancouver, BC location.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on support, ensuring a proactive safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous employee development.

Your Role

• Provide a wide range of OH&S leadership and support to the HandyDART operation by researching, developing, administering, and sustaining safe work, while building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external.
• Develop and support processes that encourage employee participation in safety, leadership engagement and positive recognition to foster safe and healthy working environments.
• Manage the Safety and Training Department in a unionized environment.
• Act as the first point of contact for HandyDART with WorkSafeBC regarding policy and operational matters related to HSE.
