Safety & Health Officer

Responsibilities

• To ensure compliance and promote safe conduct of works.
• Implement policies, activities, procedure, instructions as required by the Laws/Acts/Regulations (Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994) - DOSH
• To act as the company’s liaison with relevant authorities such as DOSH, CIDB, Bomba on matters concerning Safety and Health.
• Ensure that safety requirements are implemented by subcontractors including a safety management plan, safety procedures, safe work methods, and safety improvement.
• Create awareness to all staff on matters pertaining to Safety and Health.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental requirements.
• Ensure Site Safety Supervisor carries out regular safety visits, audits, and inspections.
• Ensure emergency resolve plans are implemented properly.
• Ensure all the machinery policies, procedures and instructions comply with JKKP regulations.
