About the Role
As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you will design and build robust Rails applications while also managing AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments. This role blends backend development + DevOps ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
Manage and automate AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS)
Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.)
Implement Docker-based containerized deployments
Oversee deployments, monitoring, logging, security, and system reliability
Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization on AWS
