Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Demonstrates experience in working with large scale public safety radio systems that employ P25 trunking, encryption, conventional repeater, and simplex systems.

Demonstrates experience in in-building radio systems.

Produces coverage predictions for a large scale PSRN network, multicast and simulcast systems.

Demonstrates in depth understanding and knowledge of applicable standards, ISEDC regulations, TSB-88 for Radio Networks.

Establishes detailed RF designs and sub-assembly performance specifications to fulfil the requirements of assigned general Unit specifications.

Performs experiments, bench tests, etc., research challenging designs through various sources of technical information.

Works with the production teams through the development phase optimizing the design for increased RF efficiency.
