Location: Henry Avenue, Sidney, BC V8L 2A8.

Full‑time, permanent position. Salary: $25 per hour.

Duties

• Load and unload construction roofing materials, and move materials to work areas
• Set up scaffolding and remove old roofing debris
• Assist roofers in construction activities such as laying down materials like asphalt, shingles, or metal roofing
• Feed equipment to roofers, such as operating pneumatic nailers, saws, and mixers
• Assist in demolishing roofs using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Operate tools as directed
• Clean up construction site
• Follow safety regulations, oil equipment, and maintain tools
• Perform other activities at construction sites as directed
