About the Role
GNF Commercial Management Limited is seeking experienced Rock Drillers in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time, permanent on-site role supporting civil construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Operating hydraulic and pneumatic drill rigs
- Drilling blast holes according to specifications
- Performing equipment inspections and maintenance
- Maintaining safe work environments
- Coordinating with blasting teams
- Following all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of drilling experience in quarry or heavy civil environments
- Comfortable working in outdoor, high-noise construction settings
- Experience with Atlas Copco or Furukawa rigs is an asset
- Familiarity with quarry production methods and rock materials
- Safety certifications such as WHMIS, First Aid, or Surface Miner are assets
