Robotics R&D Associate Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

This role sits within ABB's Robotics business and reports to the R&D Department Lead. The position focuses on creating products, systems, services, or technologies for ABB’s business units and facilitating the end‑to‑end execution of one or more R&D projects. It contributes to the R&D AMR GSC placed in Burgos and works with the R&D team, Portfolio & Product Owners, Production Unit and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, monitoring and controlling progress to ensure achievement of commitments and targeted milestones.
• Identifying and managing interdependencies between projects and project‑level constraints to realize specified benefits.
• Ensuring the team understands customer value, ensures customer satisfaction, and manages stakeholder expectations.
