About the Role
- Senior electrical engineer will manage full electrical designs on projects of all sizes both as part of a team and as an individual. Including all calculations required. They will also be expected to act as a peer to peer checking within the group.
- Full single line designs, including breaker sizing, cable sizing, coordination studies, + ARC flash. Also deal with any site related issues that design did not identify.
- Containment sizing.
- Underground layouts (ducts) including sizing and draw pit sizing.
- Lightning protection designs.
- Earthing designs.
- Transformer specifications and sizing.
- Busduct sizing.
- NER specification and sizing.
- Small power boards breaker sizing.
- Complete relevant specifications, switchgear, small power, general electrical installation inc. equipment choice.
- Be fully conversant with European codes. Being able to reference them as part of the interview process.
