Retail and Cafe Assistant

We are looking for people to join our happy volunteering team. You will be learning new skills, meeting friendly people and make a difference to your community.

• preparing and serving hot drinks and snacks to customers,
• stock ordering and replenishment,
• keeping the shop and kitchen clean, tidy and safe,
• supporting the staff and other volunteers to make our shop and cafe a welcoming and friendly place to be.

Why?

• We exist to provide an essentials grocery store and welcoming hub for the village and surrounding area.
• We run free-to-attend social activities for various sections of the community, such as a crochet group, Compassionate Cafe (in conjunction with Rennie Grove Peace), Tea Club for those who may be feeling isolation and a Family Board Games Night.
