Resident Engineer

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Verify required approvals, permits, and authorizations prior to commencement of works.
• Monitor workmanship and materials, issue corrective instructions, and review necessary design amendments.
• Review and monitor contractors' construction programmes, method statements, material submissions, and testing.
• Enforce site safety, traffic management, and utility relocation in accordance with contract requirements.
• Verify site records, inspections, test results, measurements, and as-built documentation. Prepare site diaries and periodic progress reports.

QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES
- Possess a relevant Engineering Degree and be registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia; candidates with PE will have an added advantage.
