A leading UK insurer is strengthening its actuarial function and seeking a Reserving & Capital Actuary/Analyst to support key Solvency II, reserving, and capital initiatives.
This is a high-impact role working closely with senior stakeholders across finance, underwriting, and risk — helping shape decisions that underpin long-term financial stability.
The Role
- Support reserving, capital modelling, and Solvency II reporting across the business
- Contribute to SCR calculations, stress testing, and capital adequacy assessments
- Assist with AFR production and technical provision reviews
- Partner with finance, underwriting, and risk to deliver actionable insight
