Research And Development Engineer

Our Client:

We are partnering with a Japanese based MNC that specializes in surface finishing solutions. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a R&D Engineer as part of their strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and improve liquid chemical products such as industrial detergents, cutting fluids, slurries, and polishing compounds
• Plan and conduct laboratory experiments, performance testing, and evaluations
• Source, evaluate, and trial raw materials for R&D projects
• Prepare technical documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS), labels, and product records (training provided)
• Collaborate closely with Production and QA teams to support product transfer, scale-up, and qualification
• Maintain and update R&D documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 standards
