Job Summary:
The Registered Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and legal use of pharmaceutical drugs. The role includes dispensing medications, providing drug information and patient counseling, monitoring drug therapies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispensing and Patient Counseling
- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Provide guidance on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage.
- Counsel patients on drug interactions and dosage instructions.
Inventory and Supply Management
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of medications and pharmacy supplies.
