Your Opportunity:

Registered Nurse in the Recovery Room (PACU), Orthopedic Surgery Centre (OSC) at the Royal Alexandra Hospital is responsible for providing peri-operative patient care for arthroplasty, urology, bariatric and general surgery procedures. Using the nursing process, in accordance with CRNA and Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC), the nurse will demonstrate competence in delivering safe, effective, and efficient care in the Recovery Room as an integral part of their surgical team. The incumbent performs a variety of nursing duties by administering safe and effective nursing care according to hospital policies and nursing care standards. The incumbent must demonstrate a professional, positive attitude. Excellent communication, teaching, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills are required.
