Your Opportunity:

The Registered Nurse - Bed Coordinator maintains the Hospital's bed tracking systems, assuring that the bed assignment and status of patients is accurate at defined intervals throughout the day. The Bed Coordinator follows a prioritized way of allocating beds to patients awaiting admission to the Hospital, including internal/external transfers, direct admissions, Emergency Department, and Surgery patients for defined areas of site responsibility while considering patient care requirements. This position entails working collaboratively with the Site Manager for day-to-day flow. The Bed Coordinator makes decisions independently but must be able to identify exceptions to standard processes and guidelines for discussion with Managers.
