Regional Lead, Claims & Insurance (Marine)

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Regional Lead, Claims & Insurance for an established shipping and logistics group. This role oversees a multi-disciplinary team managing high-value marine casualties, cargo liabilities, and risk mitigation across the Asia‑Pacific corridor. As a senior legal and insurance strategist, you will safeguard the group’s interests by navigating complex maritime jurisprudence and multi‑jurisdictional disputes.

Responsibilities

• Litigation & Dispute Strategy: Lead the legal strategy for high‑value maritime disputes, including cargo liabilities, charterparty breaches, and debt recovery.
• Casualty Response: Direct the legal response to major maritime incidents (e.g., General Average, collisions, salvage), managing the interface between technical teams and external counsel.
