Regional Accountant (GL)

The Regional GL Accountant is responsible for end-to-end general ledger accounting for multiple countries/entities within the region. This role ensures timely month-end close, accurate financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and compliance with IFRS and internal policies.

Description

Perform full spectrum GL accounting for assigned regional entities

Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with reporting timelines

Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed assets, intercompany, FX revaluation)

Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts; investigate and resolve variances promptly

Ensure accurate intercompany accounting, reconciliation, and timely settlement
