Recreation Aid/Assistant (Theater) - Flexible

Summary This position is located at NAS Sigonella, Midtown 2 Movie Theater, Business Activities Division of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department. This position provides oversight and control of the Theaters. Responsibilities Incumbent is responsible for the operation of the theater from one hour before movie time until theater is secured after the last showing. Opens and secures theater facility as well as secures the Midtown building on nights in which the Theater closes last. Ensures theater is setup to receive patrons, including ticket counter and concession stand and projection booth. Ensures that the evening movies are ready to be shown. Ensures the projector and sound system are in good working order prior to the start time of each showing. Sets up, operates and maintains equipment to produce coordinating effects of sound and on screen.
