About the Role

Overview

In a 6‑month overseas deployment, the Reconditioning Specialist delivers exercise and reconditioning services to Canadian Armed Forces members and partner nationals, enhancing morale and welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Lead reconditioning programs for CAF members with medical conditions.
  • Design exercise prescriptions and programs supporting reconditioning and injury prevention.
  • Provide fitness counseling to clients with physical or mental injuries.
  • Coordinate physical fitness evaluations, baseline testing, and assessment protocols.
  • Collect, assess, and report data; write case management reports.
  • Collaborate with medical providers to review limitations and develop rehabilitation plans.
  • Coordinate and lead physical fitness and motor skill events.
  • Support local team training and professional development.
  • Assist partners with healthy practices and injury prevention initiatives.
