About the Role
Responsibilities
- Set R&D agenda: develop and execute a strategic research and development roadmap focused on coatings.
- New Product Development (NPD): lead the product lifecycle from concept to commercialization, including identifying market needs, developing initial formulations, managing scale‑up trials, and ensuring robust quality control.
- Technology scouting: actively research and evaluate new raw materials, polymer technologies, and additives from global suppliers to keep the portfolio innovative, competitive, and sustainable.
- Sustainability focus: champion the development of eco‑friendly and sustainable coatings solutions, including high‑solids, powder, and advanced waterborne formulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Master’s or PhD is a plus) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
