Overview
Raw Material Procurement - Senior Manager functions as the POC procurement lead for all global procurement activities related to critical raw materials in the polyester chain flowing into Polyester and Hytrel businesses.
Responsibilities
- Guide and advise team members in developing robust regional & global category strategies
- Build and coach team members on their individual development plans and solid succession plan
- Serve as the procurement business partner to the Elastomers P&L Leader and the Polyester GBM
- Foster strong relationships with key suppliers resolving supplier disputes, when necessary
- Ensure team delivers rolling forecast of raw material prices supporting decisions making
- Develop and communicate supply strategies delivering competitive advantage in terms of total cost and supply reliability.
